Around 54 students of Ex. Community Feeder School, located in the Village of Bhoussi, faces extreme educational hurdles because there is no electricity. This becomes a big question on the future of youth and the village itself. However, recently, Hope arose for the villagers when the Lodhie Foundation and its founder trustee, Pervaiz Lodhie, decided to take the initiative to support these future heroes.

The Lodhie Foundation's gift of solar lanterns is more than just a practical solution for lighting. These lanterns symbolise a lifeline to education, a promise that shatters the darkness and illuminates a path towards a brighter future.

With these lanterns, students can extend their learning hours beyond daylight constraints.

They can catch up on missed lessons, complete homework assignments, and delve deeper into the vast ocean of knowledge without worrying about darkness.

This initiative exceeds the immediate benefit to the students.

But the story doesn't end there. Recognising the additional needs of the school, the Lodhie Foundation, upon request from the villagers, has committed to assisting with purchasing school furniture. This decision further underscores their unwavering dedication to the well-being and education of the students.

The Foundation understands the power of collaboration

They have proposed a unique approach to foster a sense of ownership and partnership within the community. Pervaiz Lodhie, the founder trustee, has pledged to cover 50% of the cost of the furniture, with the remaining 50% coming from the community. This collaborative model goes beyond simply providing resources; it empowers the community to actively participate in shaping the educational infrastructure of their children.
